EASY DOWNLOAD PACKAGE: QUICKTIME WITH QTVR PLAYER WINDOWS 3.1 (16-BIT) VERSION This package contains a QuickTIme installer application and QTVR Component. QuickTime 2.1.1 will install a number of system files and an application named PLAYER.EXE. You can use PLAYER.EXE to view QuickTime movies and QTVR scenes and objects. PLAYER.EXE will also work as a helper application with most web browsers. Launch the QT16.EXE application. This application installs a number of system resources for QuickTime. It also installs an application named PLAYER.EXE that lets you view QuickTime and QuickTime VR movies. 2. Launch QTVRW16.EXE. This executable self-expanding archive will expand into a file named QTVRW.QTC. Place the QTVRW.QTC file into the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory of your primary drive. USING PLAYER.EXE AS A HELPER APP FOR YOUR WEB BROWSER You may use Player.EXE as a helper application in conjunction with your web browser. It works with the MIME type video/quicktime. Consult your browser's manual or online help for more information on setting up helper apps. USING QTVR WITH THE QUICKTIME PLUG-IN Navigating Scenes: To Look around: Click and drag To Zoom in: Press Alt To Zoom out: Press Control To Jump to a new Node: Move the pointer to a jump spot and click Manipulating Objects: To turn object: Click and drag To save an embedded object: Click the right mouse button; from the popup choose "Save Movie." Saving Panoramas and Objects: To save a Panorama or Object embedded in a web page: Press the right mouse button; choose Save from the popup. To save a Panorama or Object displayed in a separate window: Choose Save As from the File menu.
